The tools on jpgtoolskit.org are provided free of charge for any purpose, personal or commercial. In exchange, they come with no warranty of any kind — the sections below cover the specifics. Please review them before relying on any output for load-bearing work.
Acceptance
By using jpgtoolskit.org you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. I may update these terms at any time; the latest version is what applies.
No warranty
The tools are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or correctness. I do not guarantee that the output is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular use.
Translation: before you delete the originals of compressed photos, open the results and check them. Before you post a photo you stripped EXIF from, drop the cleaned file back into Remove EXIF and confirm it reports nothing left. Before you submit a PDF of scanned documents, open it and verify every page is there and readable.
Limitation of liability
I am not liable for any loss, corruption, or misuse of data arising from your use of these tools. You are responsible for keeping backups of any input you care about — especially photos, which tend to be irreplaceable.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the tools to process images you don't have the legal right to process.
- Attempt to attack, probe, or disrupt the infrastructure hosting jpgtoolskit.org.
- Republish the site under a different name without attribution.
Your data
Your photos never reach my servers (see the privacy policy). Everything is processed locally in your browser, which also means you are the only party responsible for that data. Nothing on this site is a substitute for a real backup.
Third-party assets
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and three JavaScript libraries (jspdf,
jszip, exifreader) from jsDelivr. Those providers have their own
terms; by using this site you implicitly accept them as well.
Changes and takedown
I may modify, break, or remove any tool at any time without notice. I'd obviously rather not — please bookmark the ones you rely on and let me know if something stops working.
